We are pleased to be able to offer the lowest child to staff ratios in the area. This begins with our infant room ratio of 3.5:1 with a maximum of 7 infants. Loving, experienced, care giving in a safe, stimulating environment is supplemented with a curriculum geared for early learning and skill development. The curriculum emphasizes gross and fine motor development as well as cognitive and social skills.
The Climbing Tree toddler class, with a ratio of 5.5:1 with a maximum of 11 students. This allows for exploration of many areas of development. This age participates in weekly on site music and movement and yoga classes, daily classroom Christian education, and weekly story time with a visiting professional story teller.
The Terrific Two's! These classes are bursting with excitement as the children learn through age appropriate, hands on based play learning opportunities. Dress up, art, and anything sensory are favorites of this group.
The two's continue to participate in weekly music and movement, yoga lessons and children's chapel led by our director and Derek McNatt, Music Minster here at Christ United Methodist Church. Our two year olds also enjoy a daily formal Spanish lesson. The ratio for our two year old classes is 6:1 with a maximum class size of 12 children.

A busy morning of learning centers, small group and large group opportunities and lots of hands-on art, science, reading and math are followed by lunch and rest. Afternoons include a second visit to the playground, extended learning, weekly music and movement and yoga lesson, and daily formal Spanish instruction. Children's chapel is an important part of the three's curriculum. Chapel is held weekly and led by our director and Derek McNatt, music minister at Christ Church United Methodist. The class size is a maximum of 17 children with a child to staff ratio of 8.5:1.

The child-centered well-balanced curriculum is based on the principle that children construct knowledge from actual experiences in the environment. A variety of materials will emphasize reading readiness through phonic awareness and alphabetic principle, as well as integrated math, science, health and social studies.
Designed to meet or exceed the Essential Knowledge and Skills as developed by the Texas State Board of Education, we offer a kindergarten that addresses total child development and academic readiness. Class size is 20 children with a ratio of 10:1.
Our kindergarten teachers are degreed in Elementary Education and are certified in Texas to teach. The full day kindergarten program consists of core instruction using the McGraw Hill Math Curriculum, the Wright Group Reading Curriculum and supplementing with Handwriting Without Tears. Also included are faith based lessons throughout each week as well as a music and movement class, Spanish instruction and on site enrichment events.
Our summer camp program utilizes a Christ-centered curriculum called Day Camping Anytime! Our camps are designed as weekly camps for children entering grades K-4th will build relationships, continue learning during the summer months, participate in outreach projects and enjoy some high energy fun in a Christ-centered environment. It is our hope and prayer that each camper grows personally, spiritually, and emotionally.
